It will be nice to look at the morning paper and see how well off we will be doing. That is the one good outcome of the fall elections. We will wake up and see our paper and be thankful the Democrats are back in control.

Cleanup Instructions

1. Put on rubber, nitrile or latex gloves.
2. If there are any broken pieces of glass or sharp objects, pick them up with care. Place all broken objects on a paper towel. Fold the paper towel and place in a zip lock bag. Secure the bag and label it as directed by your local health or fire department.
3. Locate visible mercury beads. Use a squeegee or cardboard to gather mercury beads. Use slow sweeping motions to keep mercury from becoming uncontrollable. Take a flashlight, hold it at a low angle close to the floor in a darkened room and look for additional glistening beads of mercury that may be sticking to the surface or in small cracked areas of the surface. Note: Mercury can move surprising distances on hard-flat surfaces, so be sure to inspect the entire room when “searching.”
4. Use the eyedropper to collect or draw up the mercury beads. Slowly and carefully squeeze mercury onto a damp paper towel. Place the paper towel in a zip lock bag and secure. Make sure to label the bag as directed by your local health or fire department.
5. After you remove larger beads, put shaving cream on top of small paint brush and gently “dot” the affected area to pick up smaller hard-to-see beads. Alternatively, use duct tape to collect smaller hard-to-see beads. Place the paint brush or duct tape in a zip lock bag and secure. Make sure to label the bag as directed by your local health or fire department.
6. OPTIONAL STEP: It is OPTIONAL to use commercially available powdered sulfur to absorb the beads that are too small to see. The sulfur does two things: (1) it makes the mercury easier to see since there may be a color change from yellow to brown and (2) it binds the mercury so that it can be easily removed and suppresses the vapor of any missing mercury. Where to get commercialized sulfur? It may be supplied as mercury vapor absorbent in mercury spill kits, which can be purchased from laboratory, chemical supply and hazardous materials response supply manufacturers. Note: Powdered sulfur may stain fabrics a dark color. When using powdered sulfur, do not breathe in the powder as it can be moderately toxic. Additionally, users should read and understand product information before use.
7. If you choose not to use this option, you may want to request the services of a contractor who has monitoring equipment to screen for mercury vapors. Consult your local environmental or health agency to inquire about contractors in your area. Place all materials used with the cleanup, including gloves, in a trash bag. Place all mercury beads and objects into the trash bag. Secure trash bag and label it as directed by your local health or fire department.
8. Contact your local health department, municipal waste authority or your local fire department for proper disposal in accordance with local, state and federal laws.
9. Remember to keep the area well ventilated to the outside (i.e., windows open and fans in exterior windows running) for at least 24 hours after your successful cleanup. Continue to keep pets and children out of cleanup area. If sickness occurs, seek medical attention immediately. View information on health effects related to exposures to vapors from metallic mercury. For additional information on health effects, the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) provides a Mercury Fact Sheet that also presents information on health effects related to exposures to vapors from metallic mercury.

But no, my topic today is- Once we all switch to these energy efficient bulbs, how much are power companies going to have to raise rates to compensate of the lessened amount of energy they are selling? They will have the same amount of power lines if not more. They will have the same employees if not more and they will be selling less power. So instead of me deciding for myself if I want to save money by putting a dangerous light bulb in my house, I am being forced to put a potentially deadly dangerous light bulb in my house and in a few years when the power company ups the rates, I will end up paying what I pay now. The only difference is now I have a perfectly safe and efficient way to light my home.

So to the government and all the environmentalists thanks, thank you for subjecting my family to dangerous chemicals that I have no control over. thank you for allowing me to have lighting that resembles a bus stop in my living room. Thank you for all you do for of the American people. If it wasn’t for you I would be living in a cave without fire, or light or air conditioning. But that is a topic for another day.

Now what I was going to do was take from his website and write how his plans would harm not help the country. Here are four examples all taken from his issues on the economy. I had to stop at four just because ran out of time.

1.As president, Obama will initiate a strategy to encourage all 50 states to adopt paid-leave systems. Obama will provide a $1.5 billion fund to assist states with start-up costs and to help states offset the costs for employees and employers.

2.Obama will create a fund to help people refinance their mortgages and provide comprehensive supports to innocent homeowners. The fund will be partially paid for by Obama’s increased penalties on lenders who act irresponsibly and commit fraud.

3.Barack Obama will raise the minimum wage, index it to inflation and increase the Earned Income Tax Credit to make sure that full-time workers earn a living wage that allows them to raise their families and pay for basic needs

4.Obama will invest in rural small businesses and fight to expand high-speed Internet access. He will improve rural schools and attract more doctors to rural areas.

now I am going to write my response and number it with the corresponding number from above.

1. Paid leave system. Clinton paved the way for this with the family medical leave act. 6 weeks leave when you have a baby or some major family crisis. Okay, I will admit when my son was born we took advantage of it. But we didn’t get paid for. We had to set aside 6 weeks worth of pay before he was born until my wife went back to work. Now I am being told that we shouldn’t expect people to do what I had to do. The 1.5 billion dollars to fund this program is going to only escalate very quickly, every one is going to be taking advantage of this. And who is going to pay. Me the idiot who played by the rules. You who work for a living and don’t take the week off because you got a cold. They call it a “paid leave system” I call it a “tax” a tax that means the American people will have 1.5 billion dollars less to spend in the private sector where the countries wealth is generated. So my question for Obama is: How is this going to strengthening the economy? Its a tax on the middle class people.

2. I feel bad when people lose their homes but you know what, if I lost my home tomorrow the government isn’t going to save me. I think that we forget the government is their to allow for the pursuit of happiness not to prop up the poor and the ignorant. Lets face if these people getting foreclosed on could only afford a house using these “creative” financing practices. They shouldn’t have been buying in the first place. The good news for the people who are getting foreclosed on is now they can rent a house and have it be affordable. Thats basically what they were doing with these “creative” loans they were renting most didn’t have any equity in the house. Increased penalties on lenders Obama says, that means higher closing costs for you and me. That hurts the average person. Less money for spending on new things for that new home. That hurts business. Its a tax on the middle class people.

3.Okay so would the minimum wage in New York City be higher than a little town in Georgia. Now why I don’t like the minimum wage is that it tells Americans. “no you can’t do better, so here is a pay increase now go on and be a good little worker.” I love how the liberals call us “workers. Yeah we are workers but we are also free thinking human beings who are more than workers. Maybe a low wage would be the incentive someone needs to go out on their own and start a business, go find a better paying job for a better company. I think setting a minimum wage is inhumane quite honestly. It keeps people complacent and complacency breeds despair and hopelessness. That is why we end up with high welfare roles, people get used to relying on government for everything from a raise (and no matter how high the raise it wouldn’t ever be enough) to food. Besides a higher minimum wage would mean less people get hired. It would hurt small business the most and we would all pay for it when we go shopping. It is a stealth tax on the middle class people.

4. how is the president going to get doctors in rural areas and is he going to run the cables himself for their high speed Internet access. Mr. Obama if you want to help the rural areas leave them alone. How much of my tax dollars going to pay for their schools and how much are you going to invest in their businesses. I am sorry but this is nothing more than pandering to the rural Americans trying to buy thier votes. Besides if you do this it will cost taxpayers money, money we won’t see a return on. And that is a tax people a tax on the middle class.

I am more convinced everyday that the liberals want to destroy the middle class, and the way they do it is by making the fairly well to do in this country feel guilty, and while they feel guilty, they gladly give their money to the government to give to the poor. The Government has become a big charity. The problem with all of this is it is unconstitutional. It is socialism. We are on a road to communism in this country and socialism is the first stop. Mr. Obama will get us there as fast as we let him.

I have a dream that one day our Government will provide health care to all and decide who lives and dies.

I have a dream that one day my entire paycheck will be taken by the government and the politicians will decide for me how best to spend my money.

I have a dream that one day my child and your child will live in government subsidized communist style high rise condos, with access to adequate public transportation.

I have dream that little black children are just as poor as little white, Asian, Latino, and Eskimo children and they all live in government subsidized communist style housing.

How dare middle class people complain that between state income, federal income and local property taxes that add up to a years worth of mortgage payments every year, that it is to much? Don’t they know, government knows best! Don’t they know that when government creates something it is always the best value for your money?

Look at our public schools they are run so well that only an estimated 40 million Americans are illiterate. In the city of Detroit Michigan the high school drop out rate is only 75% I want to replicate that nation wide. I want the nation and the world to know that government is the answer. I want the same people who run the DMV to run our health care system. I want the same people who spend 671,900 dollars for lighting the dome on the U.S. capitol building to ensure that my retirement is financially secure. I want the same government who is so quick to defend our borders to take care of everything, my house, my car, my job, my will, my liberty and I hope that one day you will dream a dream of progressive tyrannical politics with me. I hope you dream that dream today join me in my quest for hope and change. Change you can count on, change you can believe in, change that will change everything. “

I might have been a little harsh questioning Porta John McCain’s patriotism. I will refer to him as Porta john from here on out. (I call him porta john because like all liberals he is full of well, you know) Porta John and I have one big big super big difference. He wants our country to become a third world country. He wants lawlessness and gangs and general anarchy to rule the day. He wants open boarders and basically I wasn’t to hard on him. We might agree on a lot of issues. Spending, tax reform, military, etc… But what is the point of any of that if we fail to have a country. That’s what I don’t get. I don’t understand Ted (I killed that women and have done more harm to this country than anyone else in congress with his support of gun control and his socialist views on every issue from education to our retirement I don’t understand those people in Taxachusetts they must not like freedom they must want to live under a fascist regime)Kennedy, Joe Lieberman, Diane Feinstein, Nancy Pelosi, or Porta John. What is the point of any of it if we don’t have a country? What is their vision? How can they continue to tell us everything is fine, when the fabric of our nation is being destroyed?

Look, the left and right can debate all day about issues ranging from taxes to the plight of the salmon in the great northwest. But when it comes to our borders, our sovereignty, our laws, those are not debatable. You see no matter what side of the political spectrum you are on we as Americans have to agree to some common ground. And that common ground has to be our founding principles. And if we all agree on our founding principles we would be better off because we would be free. We would be free to keep our money, use light-bulbs that didn’t contain dangerous mercury (wait until these start filling up landfills and that mercury gets into our ground water), have an adequate amount of water go through our toilets. We would be able to pick schools for our children without the burden of paying twice. (once for public school and once for a good private school) We would be able to spend less on gasoline if the government didn’t regulate the oil industry so heavily. (all in the name of the environment and children)

Its funny all this is for the children and for the environment. Well I am for clean water (hey get the pharmaceuticals out of my drinking water) and clean air. I am for the children too. But if you want to help my child let me raise him, not a school. let me teach him let me show him how to be a good responsible adult.

In the county I am moving to they have started a crack down on illegal immigrants. Since the beginning of the school year 600 students enrolled in a bilingual education program have dropped out. They moved. What does that tell you? It tells me we got a problem. It tells me there has been blatant disregard for our laws our sovereignty and you know what, I don’t blame the illegal invaders, I blame the politicians, I blame the employers, but most importantly I blame our government. How can our government act so big and powerful when apparently they can’t enforce their own laws. If I missed a tax payment they would get me. But if a illegal immigrant comes across our border bringing diseases and drugs and weapons, all of a sudden there isn’t anything they can do. I don’t ever hear a politician speak of a constitutional amendment to change the anchor baby loophole. (fourteenth amendment of the constitution) That would be a first step to get the dialog going, and while we talk about that we need to go after the employers of these people.

Its funny that no party wants to do anything about this, I guess both parties see a big block of future voters coming over the borders. These politicians want to keep their power and will sell the country away 5 thousand dollars a head to do it. (mccain kennedy amnesty bill) Or, maybe its the big businesses that want the cheap labor. Or, maybe its the harry the home owners wanting to get their yard mowed for dirt cheap. Or maybe its a little bit of everything. (5 thousand dollars and they get to be a slave, what a deal, a slave in America is better than living in another country, and the liberals say foreign countries hate us)

With that being said I will leave you tonight, I am sorry if I was harsh on Porta John a former war hero and P.O.W. But you know what, anyone who brags about working with the likes of Kennedy and the other liberals loses my respect.

From the time I started school I hated it, in fact the thought of going back to school honestly sickens me. I hated kindergarten I hated first grade I hated every bit of it. I hated when they put me in a “special” reading class, and nobody ever told me why. I hated the time they thought either I was color blind or had never learned my colors they tested me, they asked me “What color is this paper clip?” (big stupid plastic looking things maybe they thought I would hurt myself if I got my hands on a real paperclip)

“Blue” I said.

“What color is this one?”

“Yellow” I said.

“How about this one?”

I paused for a moment

“What color is this?”

I looked

“You need to tell me the color.”

I said “fuchsia?”

I didn’t know, I was only in second grade maybe third; to ask me all the technical names of the colors seemed a little unfair. I don’t know what they were trying to prove but it ticked me off then and still does today. (The reasons it ticks me off today is I know that some kid is going through the same crap I went through honestly by the time you are in the third grade you shouldn’t be reading books named “Sun Up” I swear teach something meaningful, it used to be that by the time you were in third grade your main book you would read was the Holy Bible) I hated middle school when the math class I was in the students acted so bad that we made teachers quit. I hated high school I hated being taught about civics and government by liberal teachers. (Honestly they would tell us how great the “new deal” was I had to argue with one of the teachers “If its so great why do they tax your money twice? Once when you earn it and second when you get your benefits) I hated learning about sugarcoated history and never delving deep into the true history from every angle possible. I hated the fact that teachers wouldn’t divert from the textbook, we only learned the preamble to the constitution, a few bill of rights and some historical trivia that in the grand scheme is minor.

All the smart kids learned advanced math and science. I am no scientist or mathematician, math is a language all its own and science well, I never liked being taught that any of it was gospel truth. I didn’t evolve from a monkey (where is the missing link?) I don’t believe we have any control over our environment. I don’t understand biology, chemistry I just don’t get it. I never pretended to get it. But the other subjects I didn’t mind I like the English language it is a superior language compared to the third world languages. If we don’t have a word for something we make it up (example telerviserphonernetting). I don’t know why they made us take a primitive language course; it was a waste of my time. They could have been teaching me how the world works.

Here’s the problem unless, you are raised 24 hours a day by a public or private school system you couldn’t possibly learn everything. You have to study to the test and if you don’t pass the test, something is wrong with you. You have to keep up with the class or something is wrong with you. You have to study information you will never use in your life and if you don’t, something is wrong with you. You have to regurgitate what the teacher spoon-feeds to you or something is wrong with you. Can’t sit still have a pill something’s wrong with you. And we wonder why our kids go on killing sprees in our schools.

One solution to this problem is home schooling. A child can learn the basics math reading writing but once those basics are learned why not let that child learn on their own why not let them find out things on their own without some teacher telling them how to interpret facts. For example once a child is capable of reading let them read a book then say tell me about the book. That would be fine for a young child. Now how about a highschooler instead of doing a book report on Shakespeare, to kill a mocking bird why not say okay read the constitution and write a 3-page report on it, and explain to me what our government is doing that is wrong. My gosh you could do this in a civics class or an English class or combine the classes. You could cut down on the amount of teachers, if you let the children think for themselves. I don’t want to be told how great Shakespeare was I thought his stories violent and disturbing, I don’t want to be told the new deal was great, it is a failure bankrupting my child and me. I don’t want to learn I was from a monkey. I want to have the liberty of learning I don’t want to be forced in a box I don’t to judged because I don’t understand a concept that I know is patently false (evolution, communism, socialism) I don’t want my mind cluttered with lies and misinformation.

I want truth I want solid truth I want my abc’s untainted, I want my 123′s taught in a way I understand, I want my history to be factual, my English to be clear, the only way to achieve this is to always constantly be learning. And we cannot hand over learning to the government, whether it be federal state or local. Learning is important so important it rises above the level of government. When government takes over education we learn that they can give all the information we need and they can take away all the information we need. That is why this is so scary in California. Nowhere in the U.S. constitution are guaranteed to an education. (I guess California state law does) But for the rest of us there is a reason for this government can’t achieve educating our children. They would have to keep our children 24 hours a day (Hitler type youth camps). I would prefer home schooling; I believe most people are honest decent people who want the best for their families.

I think taking guaranteed education away from the citizens of this country would foster a new enlightenment period. I think people would buckle down, read to their kids, and turn off the TV. And stop relying on a failed government system. Take your kids to a real music concert (classical or whatever just not this bubble gum rap crap that demeans women and promotes teenage sex) foster their imagination. Tell them maybe they will be the one to come up with alternatives to the way we do things now. Who knows we let the kids learn with a sense of freedom they might come up with solutions to our problems. People this starts in the home, its starts by knowing your child, its starts by not letting a government school box your child’s imagination and will to learn in.

Look, I don’t know if home schooling right for you, but I do know that if people have religious beliefs or just don’t want their children’s minds cluttered with modern day ineffective teaching than it should be an option and that option shouldn’t come with a higher education price tag for the parents. This is another example of our liberties being trampled.

And here we are John McCain Mr. amnesty himself is going to be the republican nominee for president. Here’s what I say to that. McCain you are a loser!! I despise your politics!! I think you hate your country!! (your mad we didn’t get you out of the Hanoi Hilton fast enough and now you want your revenge and your going to take it out on the entire country) I think the liberal Republicans voted for you and I think that some Democraps voted for you in the open primary states because they know you are a loser. You say Americans can’t pick lettuce. You say McCain-Kennedy wasn’t amnesty, you have been trying to destroy our economy with some liberal environmental nonsense. (raise my gas tax you thief you liar you socialist) whats left of the manufacturing base in this country will be destroyed. (hey here’s a bright idea lets have the French build our planes for us) Everyone says you will be good on the war. I say no you won’t. You won’t water-board, I say go beyond that rip out their finger nails one by one if we have to, the terrorists wouldn’t pause for a minute to do it to one of our fighting men. And they will do it to us no matter how nice we are to them. And besides who cares if we win the war if we give up our sovereignty at the the border!!! You hate our country I question your patriotism you may have at one time been a true red, white and blue American but you are nothing more than a bitter old man now.

Some say what about the supreme court nominees you may have to choose. I say it doesn’t matter!!! If you are successful in turning our country into a permanent welfare state it doesn’t matter!!! (let them all come millions at a time McCain we can all dance to mariachi music) Every slum I have ever seen has drugs rampant, rape, probably illegal abortion too. And besides we give up our sovereignty at the border why don’t we just live under international law. Heck most of the laws made in Washington are unconstitutional anyway. (For instance every entitlement program we have) I get stolen from me every year a years worth of mortgage payments, all in the name of social insecurity. And McCain are you talking about it? I don’t think so, you want to cut pork barrel spending. What about the money going to foreign corrupt governments? What about the money you and your Washington cohorts steal from my family and spend on entitlement programs that our founding fathers never envisioned, in fact this country was founded on the idea government wouldn’t be involved with our lives to the point they take so much money it effects your day to day living. (the Boston tea party) The Bill of Rights was written to limit the power of government not to enlarge it. Same can be said about the constitution. At least you could support repealing the death tax.  The death tax will affect your family in the near future.

To everyone supporting McCain, I hate to inform you that he is not a true conservative although he might be right on a lot of issues, some of the issues he is not right on are dangerous just for examples immigration and free speech. Also he is to old my gosh is he even allowed to drive a car by himself anymore. It might sound harsh but he is going to be leading our country. And we must take that into consideration. I might end up voting for him but if a viable 3rd party candidate arises I will vote 3rd party. The republican party needs to get their act together, I have seen conservatism battered to many times and I refuse to be one of the ones to throw a punch.

Look, I loath Democraps, they hate our country. They use politics to make decisions on foreign policy they have no moral compass. they want the government to control all aspects of life. This isn’t only on the federal level but also on the state and local. Imagine living in a community that wouldn’t fight crime. They say its the states job. Imagine living in a state that says our job isn’t to fight crime its the federal governments job. This is happening with illegal immigration. People, these people that won’t do anything about illegal immigration are liberals, progressives, democraps. These are the same people who want the United Nations to run foreign policy, these are the people that believe that we shouldn’t be a sovereign nation. These are the same people that will buy the votes of the poor and lower middle class in order to get hold of the power and money that government will give them. and when they want more they will pass a bill to get it. The two examples above 4 thousand for college and 5 for a baby are just examples of class warfare being waged on America. It is not the role of government to act as a charity for the poor and to be a thief of the rich. I would benefit from 5 thousand dollars and 4 thousand for college but, I don’t vote for my self interest I vote for the interest of the country.
